Composites

Composites are two or more different materials combined together to create a new material with better properties than the original materials. Fiberglass is a composite. It is light weight, strong and easy to manufacture. Reinforced plastics are composites. Concrete and even certain types of wood are composites. Many car parts are made of composites.
