Stress Relief to the N^th

Cornell University is located in the heart of New York's Finger Lakes Region. Situated at the tip of Cayuga Lake, Ithaca offers every type of outdoor activity imaginable. The campus is located between two of Ithaca's famous gorges, and students often take a break from research to visit one of the many lakes or waterfalls in the area. With 4 state parks, 145 restaurants, 9 performing arts theaters, 17 museums and galleries, and 14 bookstores, Ithaca offers something for everyone!

Optional weekend excursions to nearby attractions, such as New York City and Niagara Falls, are also sponsored by the REU program.
