We self-assemble palladium nanoparticles (small black dots) with aluminosilicate nanoparticles (dark gray regions) into an onion morphology using a block copolymer. The white regions of the image show the less dense hydrophobic block of the block copolymer. We are exploring these hybrid materials for use in size-selective catalysis.
