SEM: Leica(440)-Bard

Electrospun Poly(etherimide) (PEI) from a solution of 200mg/mL PEI in 3:1 v/v Dimethylformamide and Tetrahydrofuran was imaged by SEM. Dielectric spectroscopy is being investigated as a predictor for the electrospinnability of PEI solutions. In this effort, fibers of PEI have been formed which are ten times smaller than previously reported.
