FE-SEM: Zeiss(1550)-Clark
We assembled ~15 nm Au particles onto our Au wires. We then conducted electromigration studies at room temperature inside the vacuum chamber. From the disappearance of the Au particles during electromigration, we estimate the local temperature when the wire was broken to be > 515 K.
