CCMR Shared Facilities are in several locations on campus:
The Clark, ST Olin, and PSB facilities in the Physical Sciences Complex can be accessed from North Campus or a ten-minute walk from the Hoy Parking Garage. Parkmobile parking at 38 Forest Home Drive is very convenient to these buildings.
Bard and Duffield facilities on the engineering quad can be accessed from East Campus and are five-minute walk from the Hoy Parking Garage.

Directions to Ithaca from Points North:

Use local roads to I-81
Go South on I-81. Take Cortland Exit, Route 281 South, to State Route 13
Go South on State Route 13 to Route 366
Follow Route 366 onto Cornell Campus

Directions to Ithaca from Points East:

Use local roads to I-90 (The New York State Thruway, portions toll)
Go West on I-90 to I-88
Go West on I-88 for 76 miles to Exit 8 for State Route 206 at Bainbridge, NY
Go West on State Route 206 for 25 miles to State Route 79 at Whitney point, NY
Go West on State Route 79 for 35 miles to Ithaca, NY

Directions to Ithaca from Points West:

Use local roads to I-90 (The New York State Thruway, portions toll).
Go East on I-90 (The New York State Thruway) to Exit 42 for State Route 14
Go South on State Route 14 for approximately one quarter mile to State Route 96
Go South on State Route 96 for approximately 45 miles to Ithaca, NY

Go North on I-81 to Exit 8 for State Route 79 at Whitney Point, NY
Go West on State Route 79 for approximately 35 miles to Ithaca, NY

AIR TRAVEL:

Our local airport is the Ithaca Tompkins Regional Airport, located four miles from the Cornell campus.

If you cannot arrange a flight to Ithaca, you will find that the Syracuse Hancock International Airport in Syracuse, New York, offers more airline options (including from JFK on Delta or Jet Blue). Ithaca is 60 miles/100 km (90-minute drive) from Syracuse.

As an alternative, you may choose to use taxi service from the Hancock Airport. There are no schedules or advance reservations required, and you can usually depart quickly. The cost is approximately $180/one way. Another possible option is to rent a car at the airport and drive to Ithaca.

TRAVEL BY BUS OR TRAIN:
