Cryo Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM)

The CCMR's suite of cryoTEM-focused instruments includes the Arctica and F200, and available time at the Rutgers Krios in Piscataway, NJ.  The Arctica has STEM capabilities but is primarily operated in TEM mode. Each instrument has its own strengths. The Arctica and Krios are primarily geared towards collecting high-throughput, high-resolution imaging for single particle  cryoEM, and the F200 is an easy-to-use general purpose TEM.  More specifics can be found on the individual instrument pages.  Users that are interested in TEM or STEM in the CCMR are encouraged to contact any of our knowledgeable facility managers to discuss experimental needs; we will be happy to guide you through the process.

The Gallery below shows some images and data that were taken on some of these instruments.  Please see the individual instrument pages for more specifics on instrument capabilities and data that can be acquired from our world class microscopes.
