Cornell Imaging Contest 2026

The Cornell Imaging Contest aims to bring users of various imaging facilities across the Cornell Institute for BioTechnology Resource Center (BRC), the Cornell Center for Materials Research (CCMR), and the Cornell NanoScale Facility (CNF) to showcase their images and research to each other and the wider Cornell community.

If you’ve captured a beautiful or interesting image (optical, scanning probe, electron microscopy, microCT or anything small), submit it for a chance to win prizes, be featured, and showcase your work.

Submission deadline: May 29
Awards for both Popular Vote and Technical Impact
Open to images from work using Cornell imaging facilities (CCMR, BRC, and CNF)

Basic guidelines: minimal processing (false color OK), include a scale bar where appropriate, and submit a title + short description.

Showcase + live voting: June 5, 12–2 PM
Weill Hall Atrium (lunch provided!)
